I’m Kieran, a product designer based near Bristol with 15+ years of experience helping early-stage companies turn ideas into clear, useful and well-crafted products. Most recently, I was founding designer at Lucky Robots (opens in a new tab), where I led the creative direction across the company, helping give robotics more personality and make training feel less intimidating.
I’m at my best in small, collaborative teams, either at the beginning of a product or at an important inflection point, when there’s still plenty to figure out, assumptions to challenge, questions to ask and some world-building to do.
Alongside my design work, I’ve always had a habit of building things of my own. Polyscout (opens in a new tab) started as a curiosity project that I later sold, while TrueSkin (opens in a new tab) came from a frustration I wanted to solve for myself. That habit eventually led me to start INCRMNTL (opens in a new tab), a small product studio focused on apps and experiences that do one thing exceptionally well. I’m currently working on , a reminder app designed to make capturing things effortless wherever they come up, and tinkering with a few more ideas behind the scenes.
Outside of my own products, I work closely with founders and small teams who want a designer and creative partner involved in shaping the whole product: what it is, how it works and how it feels, not just the interface. If you’re building something interesting and would like to chat, drop me a DM (opens in a new tab).
